Growing Up

Yesterday at Mom and Dad's I was holding Emily.  She wanted to get down so I told her "Go get Mommy the remote and I'll turn it to cartoons for you."  Low and behold that child crawled to the remote, picked it up and brought it back to me.  Dad looked at me like "say what!"  I had to call James at work and tell him.  She's really turning into a little girl now instead of a baby!  She is just SO precious!

Getting Ready

We finally coerced some friends into coming to our house and this was house that went...

Just kidding, it went great but this was the only picture that we took and Emmy was ready to get off the couch, stat.

Other than that, we have been gearing up for Emily's birthday party.

Vacation

We got home a few days ago from our trip to Edisto.  My post has been delayed since......dum dum dum....I forgot the camera.  So I am having to use Mom's pictures and have yet to get her memory card.  Here are a few highlights....dodged buzzards all the way there, forgot the camera, forgot the tent for the beach, dodged 2 hurricanes, got a call midweek that our alarm was going off (from a back of the living room window, no less), and dodged buzzards on the way home.  But it was still an *excellent* trip!
