Thanksgiving is Officially Over

That's right, Thanksgiving is officially over.  We cooked at our house yesterday and broke out the fine china.

 I know that I am truly a mom when I opt for using tin foils pans instead of all of my pretty stuff. 

 But I have better things to do than scrape casserole off of Corningware. =)

Then we had to take a minute for some photos before Uncle Brian had to leave.

 Quite the difference in height!

Emily had a great Thanksgiving playing at her Great-Grandmothers house.

Thanksgiving Round Two happens tomorrow.  And we are cooking all of the food, 

so I'm sure that post will include some food pictures.

I am loving that Christmas has started to arrive!

I am loving Emily's wardrobe choices for Thanksgiving.

But it's way to warm for turtlenecks.

I am loving that this guy is on his way home.

Pictures with Santa

We went and had pictures made with Santa today, and while those won't be back for a couple of weeks...we took some at home of Emily in her Christmas dress.  

She did so good with the crazy old Santa.  She didn't even cry!

 And we tricked her into leaving her hair bow in for a little while.

So sweet!

After watching the UPS man all-but drop kick my brand new super cool awesome camera to our front door, I took my first picture....

A Walk in the Park

It was so beautiful outside today, that Emily and I decided that a trip to the park was a "must".

I am loving being home with my baby girl the rest of the week.

I am loving that we have some great friends to hang out with now.  And they are our neighbors. Perfect? Yes!

I am loving that Christmas is 38 days away (!) and my brother is coming home soon for Thanksgiving.


And as always, I am loving this guy (and that he finally put new batteries in the remote)....

3 Years

Last week James and I had our three year anniversary.  Emmy got to stay with Grammie while we took a little "tour" of downtown.
